手のひらにのる水石が好きになった夫
好きになったと同時に北海道で盆栽や水石に出合える場所や情報が少ないことに驚きました。少ないなら私たちで出合える機会を増やしていこうと始めたのが「掌」の活動です。
北海道には盆栽や水石を愛する方々がいっぱいいます。その一人一人の素晴らしい作品や技術や知識は広く伝え残していくべき北海道の財産だと考えます。
掌とは手という意味。盆栽・水石の愛好家や会そして盆栽や水石に携わる多くの人が楽しく手を取り合う有意義なつながりをつくるため今後も情報発信や企画をつくっていきたいと思っています。

石 川 綾 子（Ishikawa Ayako ）Graphic Designer / Illustrator / Planner
北海道江別市出身。造形デザイン専門学校卒業後、札幌・東京・大阪で、グラフィックデザイン、CMの企画・ディレクション、イラスト制作などクリエイティブ業務に従事。
現在は札幌を拠点に、道内企業の広告・ブランディングを中心に活動中。
趣味が高じて、盆栽専門誌「盆栽世界」ではイラストや北海道特集の取材編集も担当。

石 川 伸 一 （Shinichi Ishikawa) Office worker / Art & culture Editor
札幌市出身。大学生時代から音楽系のフリーペーパーを制作。卒業後は勤め人をしながら、NUMEO DEUX（ニュメロデュー）名義で、芸術文化系のweb NUMERO DEUXやフリーペーパー「MAGNET」の制作を主宰。近年はまちづくり活動として、札幌市の芸術文化委員、助成金の審査委員などを経験。現在はTGR（札幌劇場祭）審査委員。

Wife who fell in love with a hand-held bonsai
Husband who fell in love with suiseki in the palm of his handAs soon as I fell in love with bonsai and suiseki, I was surprised at how few places and information there were in Hokkaido where I could find them.
If there are so few, we started “Palm” to increase the opportunities to encounter them by ourselves.There are many people in Hokkaido who love bonsai and suiseki. We believe that the wonderful works, techniques, and knowledge of each and every one of these people are Hokkaido’s assets that should be widely passed on and preserved.Palm” means ‘hand’ in Japanese. I would like to continue to create meaningful connections among bonsai and suiseki lovers, associations, and the many people involved with bonsai and suiseki, and to enjoy working hand in hand with them.

Ayako Ishikawa Graphic Designer / Illustrator / Planner
Born in Ebetsu City, Hokkaido. After graduating from Zokei Design College, she worked in Sapporo, Tokyo, and Osaka, engaging in creative work such as graphic design, planning and direction of commercials, and illustration production.Currently based in Sapporo, she works mainly on advertising and branding for companies in Hokkaido.He also enjoys bonsai, and is in charge of illustrations and editing Hokkaido special features for the bonsai magazine “Bonsai World”.

Shinichi Ishikawa Office worker / Art & culture Editor
Born in Sapporo. He has been producing music-related free newspapers since he was a university student. After graduation, while working as an office worker, he produced the art and culture web site NUMERO DEUX and the free paper MAGNET under the name of NUMEO DEUX. In recent years, he has been involved in community development activities, serving as a member of the Sapporo City Arts and Culture Committee and as a judge for grants.and currently a jury member of TGR (Sapporo Gekijo Festival).
